- What does transformat / multiplatform or cross- platform mean for the purposes of this scheme?
Multi-platform projects are forms of entertainment where the story is told
over a range of media platforms, such as television broadcast, online
video, mobile phones, and downloaded podcasts which can be watched
either on a computer or a portable media player. It is a bridging of film /
broadcast / new media applications and can reach into publishing of books
/ DVDs / additional web content. A project of this kind will also rely on
social-networking and intricate methods to develop an audience and brand
loyalty.

- What does the fee cover?
The fee of 460 euros/£380* which you will pay covers:
- Transport to and from airports
- 100% of costs of all flights within Europe
- Overnight accommodation in hotel/hostel for the 20 face to face training days
- Breakfast and lunch on each of the 20 training days
- A number of dinners with guest speakers
- All masterclasses/seminars/case studies and development labs
- Course materials (hard copies and online resources)
- Studio trips
- Networking events
- Promotion of participants by the scheme coordinators to production companies
*This is reduced from the 760 euro/£670 fee in 2011

- Am I eligible to apply?
You can apply if you answer yes to these questions:
- Were you born in a MEDIA member country? Applicants must be citizens of a member state of the EU or of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland or Croatia. We welcome applications from all these countries, especially those from recent member states (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Luthuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.) - Are you studying a postgraduate course, or have you recently graduated (in 2012, 2011 or 2010) from a university-level course in a European country?
- Do you have a valid passport?
- Are you free to commit to the 20 days face to face training in Newport, Budapest and Paris?

- Will I get a course certificate?
All students having successfully completed Transform@Lab will receive a
joint course certificate signed by all 3 partners.
