"Overall the transform@lab was a fantastic experience, offering excellent workshops, masterclasses and development time. The whole four months has offered fantastic advice and inspiration from all the stuff we have been shown and talked about. The opportunity to meet all the fellow participants and mentors on the workshop has also been brilliant, and I would definitely recommend it to others."
Jake Hobbs, 2011 participant

TransformatLab is an elite workshop-based training programme designed to give graduate-level creative media students from across Europe the chance to develop and pitch cross-platform ideas in an intensive development lab.

With MEDIA support and co-ordinated by Skillset Media Academy Wales,  TransformatLab is a 20 day programme which will take place over four months at three prestigious European media schools:

Nine participants will travel to each of the host universities for an eclectic programme of masterclasses, development labs, networking events and studio visits, with hands-on support and mentoring from University tutors and leading names in European new media practice.

At the end of training scheme, participants will be inspired and armed with new skills and new contacts, at which point they will have the opportunity to pitch to commissioners, production companies and development bodies working in the cross-platform industry.

The fee for 2012 is 443 euros/£380 (reduced from 2011's fees by a half). To find out more about what the fee covers click here
